Knife Wielding Robbers Rough Up Stop N Go Clerk
FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A pair of knife wielding robbers roughed up a clerk and a customer at North Lauderdale convenience store.
Now, 10 days after the incident, the Broward Sheriff's Office has released the security camera video of the pair in the hopes that someone knows something about the robbery and gives Crime Stoppers a call.

Muhammed Meer, 55, was working the counter of the Stop N Go on Bailey Road on July 20th, when two men with t-shirts covering their faces burst in and jumped him.
Meers said he tried to hit the store's panic button but one of the robbers threw him to the floor, punched him repeatedly and yelled, "Where's the money?" The other ransacked the cash register. They then then searched through Meer's pockets and took his cell phone.
During the robbery, a customer walked in and grabbed by one of the men. Meer asked the robbers to lock him and the customer in the bathroom where they waited until the suspects left the store.

James Daily, a customer who wasn't inside the store during the robbery, spoke to CBS4's MaryAnn Martinez regarding the incidnet.
"It' a shame that they did what they did, I mean a place like this, they don't carry that much money," said Daily.
The owner says they took a little less than $400 but the thieves were willing to rough up the 55-year-old clerk to get it.
"And to do what they did to that man was...it was uncalled for," said Daily. "If you want to rob, get it, leave. You don't have to really injure somebody."
Sheriff's investigators said the two men made it quick - they were in the store just under two minutes and made off with the money and Meer's phone.
After the robbery, they both ran in the direction of the San Remo Apartment Complex located next to the business.
Despite surveillance, the store's owner, who wanted to remain anonymous in this report, isn't too optimistic that the robbers will be caught.
The owner was once a clerk and lived through several robberies.
All though he was never injured, the experiences certainly took a toll on him.
"I said whatever you want, you take it. I'm going to help you," the owner who did not want to show his face during the report said.
The owner's past experiences also taught him that the most important thing is getting out alive--which makes him even more grateful that his clerk is OK.
