Kim Kardashian West Tied Up, Robbed In Paris Apartment

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Police in Paris are searching for the gunmen who pulled off a daring robbery at a luxury apartment where reality TV star Kim Kardashian West was staying.
The gaggle of photographers and cameraman that trail Kardashian West wherever she goes was not covering the usual kind of story associated with the 35-year-old super-celebrity.
According to police, robbers masquerading as police tied her up and locked her in the bathroom. The thieves made off with a jewelry box containing $6.7 million worth of valuables and a ring priced at $4.5 before escaping on motorcycles.
A spokeswoman for Kardashian West said she was "badly shaken but physically unharmed" after the robbery.
Her husband Kanye West was performing at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York at the time and cancelled the show mid-performance.
"I'm sorry, family emergency. I have to stop the show," said Kanye West.
Kardashian West had been in the French capital for fashion week and attended a show Sunday evening where her sister Kendall Jenner was on the catwalk.
It's also unclear whether Kardashian West's 3-year-old daughter and 10-month-old son were with her when the robbery occurred. Police say the star has now left France.
As for Kardashian West's bodyguards, there are no details on how they dealt with the robbery.
