Kim & Kanye Get Engaged
SAN FRANCISCO (CBSMiami) -- Kim Kardashian had the birthday surprise of a lifetime when boyfriend Kanye West unexpectedly proposed.
E! News reports that the rapper popped the question Monday, Kim's 33rd birthday, in front of her family and close friends at AT&T Park in San Francisco.
West, 36, rented out the entire stadium for the proposal, according to E! News.
Not only did West get down on one knee for the proposal, the field's jumbo screen read: "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" And if that didn't make his intentions clear, West tapped a 50-piece orchestra to Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful," among other songs.
Kim's mom and manger, Kris Jenner, revealed the rapper did ask her first for her daughter's hand in marriage.
Kim tweeted and Instagrammed a pic of her new flawless 15 carat diamond engagement ring, writing: "YES!!!"
Kardashian has been married twice before -- first to music producer Damon Thomas and then to basketball player Kris Humphries. Of course, that marriage lasted only 72 days.
Kimye went public with their romance in 2012 and are now parents to 4-month-old daughter North.
