Key West Suicide Blamed On Obama's Re-Election

KEY WEST (CBSMiami) - Lots of people were upset when Barack Obama won a second term in this month's election, but a Key West man was so angry by the results and by business problems that he killed himself, after warning friends he wouldn't be around if Obana was.

Key West Police say they found Henry Hamilton's body in his bedroom two days after the election with a living will bearing the handwritten words "Do not revive! (expletive) Obama!"

Officers found two empty prescription pill bottles in the dining room.

Partner Michael Cossey  said he and Hamilton watched the election results together, and he told police police report Hamilton was upset. "If Barack gets re-elected," he allegedly said, "I'm not going to be around."

Cossey, who found Hamilton's body after a night playing cards, said Hamilton was anxious about his tanning business. Police don't suspect foul play.
