Key Deer Being Removed From Endangered Species List By Trump Administration
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Trump Administration plans to delist Key Deer from the endangered species list.
This decision comes despite increasing threats to the deer from rising sea levels, disease, hurricanes and urban sprawl.
According to the conservation group Sierra Club, 135 deer have died from the New World Screwworm disease since 2016.
Another 200 died during Hurricane Irma.
