Justin Bieber Accused Of Attempted Robbery

LOS ANGELES (CBSMiami) -- A woman is accusing Justin Bieber of attempted robbery of her cellphone.

The gossip website TMZ said it spoke with a woman identifying herself as the one who filed the complaint with police.

According to the website, the woman said Bieber and his crew got into a fight with some guys at a batting cage in Sherman Oaks Monday night.

She told TMZ that Bieber saw her reaching for her cell phone, and demanded she hand over her phone so he could delete any photos she may have snapped.

She said when she refused, he reached into her purse and grabbed it.

The Los Angeles Police Department says they got the complaint on Tuesday and officers interviewed the woman.

As for Bieber, he was in Oklahoma City taking in a game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Bieber also faces legal problems in South Florida.

The 20-year-old singer was arrested Jan. 23 in Miami Beach after what police described as an illegal street drag race between Bieber's rented Lamborghini and a Ferrari driven by R&B singer Khalil Amir Sharieff. Neither was charged with drag racing, but both were charged with DUI. Bieber was also charged with resisting arrest without violence and driving with an expired license.
