Joyce Degenerates Into A Remnant Low
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Tropical Depression Joyce is losing tropical characteristics and is now a remnant low, according to National Hurricane Center forecasters.
At 11 a.m., the center of the system was roughly 1030 miles east of the Leeward Islands.
The storm had maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour with some higher gusts. It was moving to the west-northwest at 16 miles per hour.
Little change in strength is expected during the next 48 hours, and Joyce could further degenerate into a trough at any time.
