Jennifer Garner Talks Motherhood & "The Odd Life of Timothy Green"
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Disney's latest creation, "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," tells the story about a couple who couldn't have children and then a magical child showed up at their doorsteps.
Actress Jennifer Garner stars in the new movie and had plenty to say about the movie, motherhood, and even magic.
In "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" Garner plays Cindy Green. She is partnered with Joel Edgerton, who plays her husband Jim Green, and CJ Adams who plays Timothy.
Garner said the trio had a tight bond and had a lot of fun together while making the movie. She and Edgerton really became one with their characters, actually parenting CJ on set.
As a mother of three kids, Garner said she could easily relate to both when her character becomes a parent and especially when understanding the sadness about her character's infertility.
"Just to even imagine for a second, I can at least tap into this huge grief and frustration," said Garner, "You would reorder yourself as a person, as a woman."
The role for Garner was totally out of her comfort zone, as she joked about pregnancy not being a problem for her.
"If he (her husband, Ben Affleck) walked through the door and looked at me now, I would be pregnant," Garner joked.
Garner even became pregnant with a third child, who is now six months, just after wrapping up the film.
Garner's busy schedule doesn't give her much rest. She questions her work and the every move of her kids at home. But, she says she forgives herself and lets others help her out.
"The Odd Life of Timothy Green" is in theaters now.
