James Joins Elite Group Scoring In Double-Figures In 500 Straight Games
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – During the Miami Heat's 104-95 victory over the Toronto Raptors Tuesday night, LeBron James joined some very elite company.
James became just the fifth player in NBA history to score in double-figures in 500 straight regular season games. LeBron joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, and Moses Malone in accomplishing the feat.
The last time James scored in single-digits in a game was on January 5, 2007 when he scored just eight points against the Milwaukee Bucks. The next night he scored 19 points against the New Jersey Nets. James has more regular-season games scoring at least 50 points (nine) than scoring less than 10 points (eight).
Incidentally, Jordan holds the record for the longest streak of consecutive games in double-figures at 866.
