IRS Center Closed For Moving Day
PLANTATION (CBSMiami) - If you need to make an in-person visit to the IRS in Miami, you need to do it by tomorrow or wait until next Tuesday, because the office will be closed to move to new digs.
The Miami IRS Taxpayer assistance center in the Claude Pepper federal building is getting new space in the same building, so they will be closed Friday and the following Monday to give staff time to relocate. The new office will be on the third floor, room 314, of the office building at 51 SW 1st Avenue.
Taxpayers who need in-person help then can visit the IRS Plantation office , reach them through the web at www.irs.gov or by calling 1-800-829-1040.
