Interrogation Video Shows Different Side Of Accused Killer's Story
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Newly released interrogation video obtained by our news partner, The Miami Herald, reveals how the man accused of stabbing a couple to death fled from the crime scene with a shirt covering his face.
By his own admission to police, Armando Colon said he had just broken down the door to his girlfriend's grand-parents apartment on July 16th. When he walked in, he saw the elderly couple covered in blood.

Police said 86-year-old Rodolfo Pavon's throat was slit. His bed-ridden wife was stabbed in the head.
"You saw all the blood, and you came back out. Why didn't you call the cops," asked Miami Police Sgt. Confesor Gonzalez.
"I freaked out," said Colon in the video. "I never saw anything like that in my life."
The 23-year-old told police he went to the apartment to get a glass of water. Colon told police he broke down the door because he was worried about the elderly couple's well-being.
"So you switched from, 'I'm going to rescue my girlfriend's grandparents…'" said Gonzalez in the video.
"To a (expletive,") interrupted Colon.
"To, "I'm going to run away," continued Gonzalez.
"To a little (expletive,) yes," said Colon.
A CBS4 source said Colon is a known drug addict. The source said Colon killed the couple for drug money.
Colon maintains he never hurt the couple. He pleaded not guilty to murder charges.
