HIALEAH (CBSMiami) -- Firefighters had their hands full with a northwest Miami blaze that got out of control.
Forestry officials said it was started Saturday by a man who had a permit to burn on his estate, near Okeechobee Road and the Turnpike. However, the fire soon spread to about 10 acres before the authorities were called in to help.
Thick black smoke could be seen rising into the air as four agencies were out to help, including Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
No injuries were reported.
