I-95 Re-open After Tractor Trailer Rollover Wreck
HALLANDALE BEACH (CBSMiami) – All lanes of I-95 have reopened after a tractor trailer crash blocked two southbound lanes for a couple of hours Friday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the tractor trailer was traveling southbound on I-95 at Hallandale Beach Boulevard when the driver, Wilber Pavon, failed to stop for traffic ahead of him. He slammed into the back of a GMC box truck driven by Efrain Silva.
The collision caused the tractor trailer to flip over on its side.
Pavon suffered minor injuries and was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment. He was also cited for failure to use due care.
Silva was not hurt.
All lanes were re-opened at 9:50 a.m.
