CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) – The University of Miami men's basketball team won again on Tuesday, wrapping up the 2015 portion of its schedule with an impressive 11-1 record.

The No. 13 Hurricanes did something that the team hasn't had to do much this season; come from behind.

The Canes trailed by three at halftime and the Princeton Tigers doubled that lead in the early stages of the second half.

Miami responded with a 10-0 run capped off by an Ivan Cruz Uceda three-pointer that put the Hurricanes up 57-53.

It was the first time that the two schools met since 1948.

For the Canes, this marks the second straight season posting 10 or more wins in the non-conference portion of the schedule.

The last time Miami had at least 11 non-conference wins was in 2010-11 when they went 12-3 against non-ACC teams.

One very impressive aspect of the Canes' 11-1 start to the season is that they have only trailed a total of 23 minutes and 33 seconds combined in the twelve games.

Of Miami's 11 wins, 10 have been by double digits. Head coach Jim Larranaga is 60-17 all-time with the Hurricanes in games decided by 10 or more points.

Larranaga is in his fifth season coaching the Canes and has a 102-50 record with the school, including a 41-29 mark in ACC play.

Following the New Year, Miami will begin it's conference schedule with a pair of home games against Syracuse (10-3) and Florida State (10-2) before hitting the road for games at No. 5 Virginia (10-1), Clemson (7-5) and Boston College (6-6).

HURRICANES WOMEN ALSO HAVING STRONG SEASON

The University of Miami women's basketball team heads into 2016 ranked No. 22 in the AP Top 25 and No. 20 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Miami (12-1) has now been nationally ranked in both major polls for three straight weeks.

The Lady Canes earned multiple top-15 votes in the most recent poll, appearing as high as No. 12 in the balloting.

Miami, led by head coach Katie Meier, is tied for second in all of Division I in victories and is tied for ninth in winning percentage (.923).

The Hurricanes' men and women have the most combined wins (23) of any school in the NCAA.

The Canes women will kick off their ACC schedule on Wednesday night when they host 9-4 North Carolina State at 7 p.m. at the BankUnited Center.
