Homeless Miami Cats Sent To Maryland For New Homes
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Cats without homes in South Florida will hopefully find a new success with a change in latitude.
In order to save the lives of as many homeless pets as possible, the ASPCA community partnership, Miami-Dade County Animal Services and the Last Chance Animal Rescue of Maryland have teamed up to transport 61 Miami felines to Maryland.
The cats headed north out of South Florida Saturday.
Last Chance Animal Rescue will work with PetSmart in Maryland to find homes for the cats.
