Hollywood Woman Wanted In Man's Death Arrested In Keys
HOLLYWOOD (CBS4)- A woman police were looking for in connection with the death of a man found dead Dec. 15 in Hollywood was arrested in Marathon.
Monroe County Sheriff's Office arrested Mary Gwen Meegan, 44, Thursday. She was found at the Independence Cay homeless shelter.
Meegan is in custody Tuesday pending extradition to Broward. She is being held without bond, according to KeysNet.com.
Meegan is charged with murder in the death of Robert G. Tyler, 69. Tyler's body was discovered at a motel-residence complex in Hollywood. No other information on the case was available from the Hollywood Police Department.
A warrant for her arrest was issued Dec. 27, according to KeysNet.com.
According to Monroe Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Becky Herrin, the notice issued by Hollywood police said Meegan is known to frequent such shelters.
