HOLLYWOOD (CBS4) - An armed robber who preyed on people using an ATM at a Hollywood bank was caught on camera, now police are hoping to catch him in real life.

On Tuesday they released a pair of pictures taken during two robberies at the Bank of America Drive-Thru in the 900 block of South 56th Avenue.

The first robbery happened on Black Friday, Nov. 26th, around 10:30 at night. The second robbery occurred the two days later around 6:45 p.m.

ATM Robbery 1
Security cameras captured the image of this man holding up an ATM user at a Hollywood Bank of America branch.

In both cases the armed man would wait until the ATM user had entered his PIN number. He would then approach the customer, brandish his gun and demand cash. He would then order them to drive off.

Hollywood police spokesman Lt. Scott Pardon said during the Sunday robbery the armed man actually fired at the person he had just robbed as they drove away. The person was not hurt.

Police are hoping someone will recognize the man in the photographs, who they considered armed and dangerous, and give Broward Crime Stoppers a call at (954) 493-TIPS.
