MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Hillary Clinton has been projected as the winner for the Nevada Democratic caucus, CBS News has reported.
Clinton (52%) edged out Senator Bernie Sanders (48%) largely on the backs of black voters. 76 percent of African-Americans voted for Clinton, compared to only 22 percent for Sanders.
Sanders, however, took both the white (49-47) and hispanic vote (53-45).
Clinton, who lost to Sanders in New Hampshire but won in Iowa, took to Twitter to confirm the latest victory.
To everyone who turned out in every corner of Nevada with determination and heart: This is your win. Thank you. -H
