Hillary Clinton Heats Up Fight For Florida With Multiple Sunshine State Stops

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is fighting tooth and nail for Florida, a battleground state that Donald Trump needs if he hopes to win the presidency.
On Tuesday, the former first lady was back in South Florida for the second time in as many days.
Clinton was scheduled to start the rally at Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park, at 2520 NW 6th Street, in Fort Lauderdale at 8:45 p.m.
She went on an hour late, with Congressman Patrick Murphy introducing her.
Like her husband, Bill Clinton, who was also in town, she focused on early voting.
"Vote, vote, vote, Florida!" she said.
The Clinton campaign is apparently concerned black early voter turnout is lagging, especially when compared to four years ago.
"This is a big deal. There are now only seven days left in the most important election of our lifetime. We cannot take anything, anybody, anywhere for granted," she said.
Before the South Florida stop, she passed through Dade City and Sanford.
Clinton's statewide stops come as the FBI searches through thousands of newly discovered emails possibly connected to her private server controversy.
The probe has provided more fodder for rival Donald Trump, who used the issue to blast Clinton's judgment. On Monday, Clinton crisscrossed the battleground state of Ohio trying to put the focus back on Trump.
"I want you to be able to say I voted for a better, fairer, stronger America," Clinton told a crowd of cheering supporters.
Clinton's campaign has accused FBI Director James Comey of a blatant double standard for disclosing this probe to Congress but staying silent on its investigations into the Trump campaign's alleged ties to Russia.
An aide to Trump said they would not use the latest Clinton email investigation a center piece of the campaign but GOP nominee couldn't resist taking a shot during a stop in Michigan anyway.
"If Hillary is elected, she would be under protracted criminal investigation, likely followed by the trial of a sitting president. This is just what we need," said Trump.
With the election now one week away the Justice Department has it will commit all resources necessary to review the emails quickly.
Trump is scheduled to make campaign stops in Florida on Wednesday. President Barack Obama will campaign on behalf of Clinton on Thursday.
