Hialeah Police Need Help Locating Elderly Man With Alzheimer's

HIALEAH (CBSMiami) – Police are asking for the community's help in locating an elderly Alzheimer's patient.

Fidelina Navarro told Hialeah police her 76-year-old husband, Jose Manuel Navarro, went missing at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Monday.

According to Fidelina Navarro, her husband said he was going to the mailbox down the block and coming back home.

But Mr. Navarro, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, never came back. He has never gone missing before.

The 76-year-old was last seen driving away from his home in a green, 4-door 2004 Chevrolet Malibu with tag EDCQ92.

Navarro is listed at 5-feet and 10-inches tall, around 160 pounds and has hazel eyes.
