Helin: Cavs Need 'Big Numbers' From LeBron and Kyrie Every Game
Much to the delight of Miami Heat fans, the Cleveland Cavaliers stumbled against the Chicago Bulls on Monday night, falling 99-92 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
LeBron James and Kyrie Irving combined for 49 points, but it was on 19-for-45 shooting. For Pro Basketball Talk's Kurt Helin, that duo is going to have to produce in a big way -- every game -- for them to have a shot at advancing.
"Look, with Love out, and the spacing gone, LeBron and Kyrie are gonna have to put up big numbers every game," Helin said on the Big O Show on 560 WQAM. "They just have to. They don't have the talent otherwise to do it."
Does King James' run of four consecutive Eastern Conference Finals -- all with the Miami Heat -- end here?
