Heat Kick Up Pressure On The Road
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Heat have been playing with a renewed defensive energy and chip on their shoulder as of late. Wednesday night, in a game against the woeful Charlotte Bobcats, the game got feisty at different times.
Early in the game, Heat forward Udonis Haslem took issue with a hard foul on LeBron James. Haslem was jawing back and forth with several Bobcats players, most notably Bismack Biyombo. The disagreement also brought in Heat guard Dwyane Wade.
It wasn't Wade's only problem of the night.
With the Heat leading in the fourth quarter, Wade was bringing the ball up the court when he was fouled by the Bobcats' Ramon Sessions. When the foul happened, Wade's left leg came flying up and hit Sessions in the groin.
Sessions immediately fell to the ground in pain and just as quickly got back up and started jawing with Wade, who appeared to indicate that it was just a result of him being off balance after the foul.
No comments were given by the Heat about the incident. Miami won the game 105-92.
