Heat Celebrate Championship At Club Story
MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – Miami Heat players celebrating back-to-back NBA Championships decided to keep the party going on South Beach after Thursday night's victory against the San Antonio Spurs.
But instead of heading to Liv nightclub, like previous years, they decided to switch it up a bit and partied into the wee hours of the morning at Club Story.
When LeBron James arrived, he greeted fans, gave out a few hugs and fist bumps and even had a couple of brief conversations with some folks.
Not too far behind him, teammate Dwyane Wade arrived with his actress girlfriend Gabrielle Union. He too was greeted by fans before they walked inside.
Coach Erik Spoelstra, Udonis Haslem and Ray Allen also showed up.
CBS4's Summer Knowles caught up with Allen as he was leaving.
"Everybody in Miami, everybody's been great to me and my whole family. We're just extremely excited to have been down here all year and to be able to be here tonight winning this championship," said Ray Allen.
Some folks in line at Club Story paid $100 just to get in to the club.
