Surrender Guns And Receive Gift Cards
MIAMI (CBS MIAMI) – Gun Buy Back events will take place later this month around Miami-Dade County.
CBS4 news partner, The Miami Herald, reports two county commissioners will host the events in North Miami and Southwest Miami-Dade on July 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Commissioner Sally Heyman will host the North Miami event at the Biscayne Landings sales office at 15045 Biscayne Blvd., in partnership with Miami-Dade, North Miami and Biscayne Park police.
Commissioner Dennis C. Moss will host the South Dade regional Gun Buy Back at 11350 Southwest 216 St.
Anyone can drop off a firearm with no questions asked and in exchange receive a gift card.
The cards will be worth up to $200 and from local retailers.
Free gun locks for safe gun storage will be provided for those interested.
