Grow House Bust In South West Ranches
SOUTHWEST RANCHES (CBSMiami) -- Broward Sheriff's Office SWAT were able to take occupants of a grow house into custody Monday after they had barricaded themselves inside the Southwest Ranches home for hours.
According to deputies, Broward County Drug Task Force was conducting a narcotics investigation at 5301 SW 178 Ave. They found a hydroponics operation consisting of 38 pots and approximately 35 marijuana plants, about a foot tall.
SWAT was able get the occupants of the home to surrender after 3 hours and were taken into custody.
