Gov. Scott Wants Your Suggestions On Facebook
TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/AP) – Do you have an idea how to lure big businesses who provide good paying jobs to Florida?
Well, the governor wants to hear from you.
Gov. Rick Scott posted a request on his Facebook page Thursday that he wants people to give him suggestions. Scott posted added that he's looking for success stories to use when talking to companies either planning on expanding or relocating to the state.
Within minutes of the posting, Scott's Facebook page was filled with dozens of comments. Some people praised the state's weather and the lack of a state income tax as a reason to move to Florida. Others offered the governor a range of suggestions, including that he should do something about illegal immigrants.
Scott has routinely used social media since becoming governor and has hosted town hall meetings on both Facebook and Twitter.
