Gov. Scott To Head To Israel
TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/NSF) -- Gov. Rick Scott said Tuesday he'll go to Israel next month on a trade mission, saying the journeys abroad to drum up business for Florida "really work."
In an interview on 92.5 Fox News Radio in Fort Myers Tuesday morning, Scott confirmed he'll make another international trip, following a trip recently to Brazil, the state's biggest trading partner.
"We've got to do more international trade, and these trips really work," Scott said. "Next month I'm going to Israel. We have a big opportunity to do more business with them." Scott didn't give any further details of the trip. Scott has also traveled on trade missions to Canada and Panama in his first year in office.
