TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami) – Florida Gov. Rick Scott once again shot down the notion he would be Donald Trump's running mate.

Scott was asked Friday by CNN's Wolf Blitzer.

"I'll say no, I'm gonna pass.  I like this job. I worked hard to get this job," he said.

Scott, who still has two more years at Florida's helm, continued, "I love the 20 million people who live in my state and the 100 million tourists. I'll do my best my last two years to make sure this is the number one place in the world for jobs, education, and public safety."

While the governor shot down interest in being Trump's VP, the Washington Post reports the two will meet at trump tower on Monday.

The meeting is said to be about strategizing the best way for Trump to win Florida.

According to Scott, Trump has a great shot at winning it all.

"I predict Donald's gonna have a big win," he said.
