Google Launching Music Service
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Google is set to launch a new digital music service that will let users upload their entire music library to the company's servers.
That would allow users to access their music from any location, instead of having to keep their own digital copy on their iPod, iPhone, iPad, or PC.
Google's service will launch without licensing from the four largest record companies. Google had been negotiating with the record companies for licensing for more than year.
The test service is called Music Beta by Google.
