MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The viewing for a 12-year-old Tequila Forshee is taking place Friday followed by her funeral and burial on Saturday.
Forshee's viewing is taking place at the Wright and Young Funeral Home, located at 15332 NW 7th Avenue in Miami until 8:00 p.m. Friday night.
At 11:30 a.m. Saturday, a "Celebration of Life" is scheduled at the Cooper Temple Church of God in Christ located at 3800 NW 199th Street in Miami Gardens. That'll be followed by the interment at Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 NW 57th Avenue in Miami Lakes.
A bullet fired from outside Forshee's home traveled inside the house and struck her in the head Wednesday August 14th, as her hair was being braided in preparation for the new school year.
She died at the home.
