Giants G Shaun O'Hara Visits Fins Facility
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – The Miami Dolphins continue to look at some minor tweaks to their roster and are looking at a former Pro Bowler to help along the offensive line.
Former New York Giants center Shaun O'Hara visited the Fins over the weekend. He's 34-years-old, was a Pro Bowl selection the last three years, but is also coming off offseason ankle and Achilles tendon surgery.
O'Hara was a key cog in the Giants offensive line that paved the way for Giants running backs Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs.
If O'Hara were to sign with the Fins, he could be inserted along the offensive line at either the guard or center position.
Fins coach Tony Sparano said he wants to play rookie Mike Pouncey at center, so O'Hara would either be a backup to Pouncey, or play at guard.
