Get The Scoop On Poop At Zoo Miami
MIAMI (CBS4) -- Think you know your poop?
The public can check its level of knowledge at Zoo Miami, which will have poop on display starting January 22 as part of a popular 5,000 square-foot traveling exhibit that illustrates various types of feces and how animals and humans use it.
The exhibit is based on a popular book "The Scoop on Poop" by Dr. Wayne Lynch who blends facts and fun with large colorful graphics, 3-dimensional models and, yup, even interactive components.
The exhibition claims this is the largest assembly of poop ever mounted for viewing.
One feature of the experience is an opportunity to listen to animal digestive systems, to learn how poop is viewed internationally and to actually view fecal samples in a veterinarian's laboratory.
There will be dung beetle races, fun learning experiences on how to track animals based on what they leave behind, among other interesting fecal facts that will boost the public's number 2 IQ when they attend the Stool School.
The exhibit opens at Zoo Miami, 12400 SW 152nd Street in Miami on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. and closes its doors at 5 p.m. and runs through May 8. Admission $15.95 per Adult and $11.95 per Child (3-12).
