Gator In Road Led To 3 Vehicle Crash
MIAMI (CBS4) - An alligator in the middle of the road led to a three vehicle accident in Miami on Sunday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on SW 8th Street near Krome Avenue when one of the drivers lost control while trying to avoid hitting the gator.
Three adults were airlifted to the hospital in critical condition; two other people with less serious injuries were taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center where they were listed as stable. Two other people were treated on the scene for minor injuries.
The FHP said the gator was killed as a result of the crash.
