Gables Cops Looking For Comely Con Artist
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Coral Gables police have asked the public's help in finding a woman who scammed a bank out of nearly $10,000 and tried to hit up another bank for nearly half of that.
The woman struck on August 8th. First she went to the Sun Trust Bank branch at 100 Miracle Mile and cashed a counterfeit check for $8,436.22. A short time later she attempted to cash another phony check for $5,500.00. at the Wells Fargo branch at 2100 Ponce de Leon Boulevard.

In both cases, according to police, she presented an Ohio Driver's License with two different names: Rebecca Brown and Shaneka Parker.
The police would like anyone who recognizes her, or may know where she is, to call Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS(8477).
