Ft. Lauderdale Teen Injured After Accidental Shooting
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4) - A teenager was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon to be treated for a gunshot wound after a shooting at a Ft. Lauderdale home.
Fort Lauderdale Police say they responded to a home on the 4800 block of Northwest 10th Avenue after receiving a report of a shooting.
They found two juveniles in the home, one of them injured by a gunshot. The teen, 14, was transported to Broward Health Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives are trying to figure out the details behind the shooting, but believe it to be accidental.
It is unclear if any charges will be filed.
