Ft. Lauderdale Mega Money Lottery Player Is $2M Richer
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami/AP) — A South Florida lottery player matched all four numbers plus the Mega Ball in the Mega Money game to win a $2 million jackpot.
Florida Lottery officials said the winning ticket was purchased in Fort Lauderdale.
Nine tickets won $1,779.50 for picking 4-of-4; 50 tickets won $700 each for picking 3-of-4 plus the Mega Ball number; 976 tickets won $107 each for picking 3-of-4; 1,506 tickets won $48.50 each for picking 2-of-4 plus the Mega Ball; 12,265 won $6 each for matching one number plus the Mega Ball; 30,002 tickets won $4 each for picking 2-of-4; and 27,604 won a free Quick Pick ticket for matching the Mega Ball.
The numbers drawn Friday night were 1-7-25-44 and the Mega Ball was 13.
Five winners of the "Fantasy 5" game will collect $44,148.40 each according to lottery officials.
The winning tickets were bought in Miami, Lauderdale by the Sea, Coconut Creek and Lehigh Acres.
The 390 tickets matching four numbers won $91 each. Another 10,869 tickets matching three numbers won $9 each, and 99,639 tickets won a Quick Pick ticket for picking two numbers.
The numbers drawn Friday night were 2-10-12-25-29.
