FSU Offense Clicks At Right Time
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (CBSMiami) – The Florida State Seminoles have lived and died off its defense throughout the season. Luckily for the Noles, the players got the offense cranking just in time for the NCAA tournament.
The Atlantic Coast Conference champions have been vulnerable when they've committed too many turnovers or shot poorly, but they're virtually unstoppable otherwise. North Carolina came to Tallahassee in mid-January and left after a 33-point drubbing on a night the Seminoles were hitting on all cylinders.
Florida State has scored 80 or more point in three of its last four games. Seven different Seminoles have been the leading scorer in at least one game this season with Michael Snaer the pacesetter in 17 games.
The Seminoles (24-9) open tournament play Friday against St. Bonaventure (20-11) in the first round of the NCAA East Regional at Nashville, Tenn.
