Frozen Ride To Replace Maelstrom At EPCOT
LAKE BUENA VISTA (CBSMiami/AP) — Walt Disney World is saying "Let It Go" to it's Maelstrom ride at the Norway pavilion in EPCOT.
What will be replacing it is a ride inspired by the ever-popular "Frozen" movie. The new attraction will take guests to the fictional land of Arendelle and recreate moments and music from the film.
The pavilion will include an area where guests can meet the movie's sister characters Anna and Elsa.
"Frozen" themes will also be a major part of holiday activities at the Magic Kingdom Park this year. Cinderella Castle will turn into an ice palace nightly starting in early November, and Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will include appearances by Anna, Elsa and other "Frozen" characters including Kristoff and Olaf.
