Congresswoman Frederica Wilson Presents Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava With Check For $1.2 Billion
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Major federal dollars have made their way down to South Florida.
On Friday morning, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson presented the mayor of Miami-Dade County a check for $1.2 billion.
The money is part of the $18.6 billion awarded to Florida from the bi-partisan infrastructure bill and as Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said, "the money will be put to good use."
Congresswoman Wilson was only one of five Democratic members to co-sponsor the bipartisan bill.
