Fort Lauderdale Lifts Precautionary Boil Water Notice
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - It's safe to drink tap water again for some Fort Lauderdale residents.
Thursday morning the city announced that it was lifting a February 3rd precautionary boil water notice to residents impacted by a 16-inch water main break in the area of 100 S. Birch Road.
The repairs have been completed and bacteriological surveys show that the water is safe to drink.
