Former Opa-Locka City Employee Charged With Allegedly Pocketing Licensing Fees
OPA-LOCKA (CBSMiami) – A former Opa-locka building official is arrested after police say she pocketed hundreds of thousands of dollars in licensing fees.
Investigators say 54-year-old Mary Brown spent almost six years as a clerk in the city's building and licensing office.
Brown is charged with organized scheme to defraud, grand theft and official misconduct of a public servant.
Her bond is $150,000.
