Florida Voting By Absentee Ballot In Big Numbers
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The November election is a little more than two weeks away but three-quarters of a million voters in the state have already cast their ballots.
Florida elections officials said of the 1.6 million requested absentee ballots, 747,000 have already been returned.

As of last Saturday in Miami-Dade, nearly 75,000 absentee ballots have already been returned, nearly a third of the 233,267 requested.
Updated numbers from Broward and Monroe counties were not available Monday morning.
If you are going to vote absentee, you have until October 31st to order a ballot.
Voted absentee ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Election's office no later than 7p.m. on Election Day. A voted ballot will not be accepted at a polling place.
If you requested an absentee ballot and later decide to vote at the polls, take your absentee ballot with you to be canceled at your polling place.
