Iconic Florida Scholar Sandy D'Alemberte Dies At 85
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – One of South Florida's most iconic legal scholars has died.
The Tallahassee Democrat is reporting that Sandy D'Alemberte, the former President of Florida State University and dean of its law school passed away Monday.
He also served in the Florida legislature and was president of the American Bar Association.
D'Alemberte also championed the legal fight to bring cameras in the courtroom in Florida.
He was 85 years old.
