Five-Year-Old Struck By Dirt Bike In Critical Condition
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A five-year-old, according to authorities, is in the hospital Friday night after being struck by a dirt bike.
A driver, upon noticing that there was a five-year-old in the street, stopped the car.
Authorities say that a dirt bike, behind the vehicle that had stopped for the child, tried to go around not knowing the child was in the street and ended up hitting the child.
The child was transported and is currently in critical condition.
The child's mother was in the immediate area and ran over looking for the child, authorities said.
The driver of the dirt bike was transported with non-life threatening injuries.
