Five People Injured In Head Crash On I-195 Ramp
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Five people, including a pregnant teen, were injured when a car they were in slammed into a barricade on I-195.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the accident happened just after 1 p.m. on the westbound ramp of I-195 to northbound I-95.
The driver of the Mustang reportedly lost control and crashed head on into the barrier which divides the northbound and southbound lanes of I-95.
One of teens in the car had to be cut out by Miami Fire Rescue.
The pregnant teen suffered injuries to her nose and hands. She was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
One of the teens was thrown from the car on impact; another went partially through the windshield.
Four of the injured were taken to the Ryder Trauma Center.
