Deadly Crash On I-95, Lanes Shutdown

NORTH MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- The northbound lanes of I-95 were closed down Monday following a deadly crash during the early morning rush.
Rescue crews rushed five people to the hospital after the crash in North Miami around 8:30 a.m., according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
One of the people injured died as a result of the crash, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers are trying to find out where a tractor trailer and concrete mixer were involved in the crash.
Chopper4 was over the scene near 125th Street where crews could be seen trying to extricate someone from one of the cars involved.
The northbound lanes of I-95 will remain closed for a few more hours as investigators try to find out what caused the crash. The closures are causing some major traffic tie ups in the area. Click here for the latest traffic information.
