Fire Crews Whisk Away Cat From Fort Lauderdale House Fire

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A cat's whiskers must be standing after fire rescue saved it from a Fort Lauderdale house fire on Thursday.
The fire broke out at around 4 p.m. at a home on 470 Arizona Ave.

When crews arrived, the entire house was engulfed in smoke.

Crews were able to rescue a cat named "Stormy," who was then treated for smoke inhalation.

Fort Lauderdale Fire did not say if anyone else was hurt or injured in the fire. It is also unknown how the fire started.
