TE Jared Cook Picks Rams
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins gave it their best shot to land former Tennessee Titans tight end Jared Cook, but in the end the team couldn't close the deal, according to multiple reports.
The Dolphins had an opening at tight end after Anthony Fasano quickly agreed to a multi-year deal to join the Kansas City Chiefs shortly after free agency opened Tuesday.
According to Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post, Cook reportedly narrowed his choices down to the Dolphins and the St. Louis Rams. The Rams are coached by Cook's former coach, Jeff Fisher.
For his career, Cook has 131 catches for 1,717 yards and eight touchdowns.
