FBI Looking For Serial Bank Robber In Broward County
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced Tuesday that it has identified a possible suspect in a string of recent bank robberies in Broward County.
The FBI said it was looking for Jeffery Kelly Ross, 26, for his alleged involvement in the bank robberies. The banks were robbed over a span from May of last year to February 2013.
Specifically, the FBI said Ross was involved in robberies at a Bank United in Lauderdale Lakes on May 9, 2012; another robbery at Chase Bank in Tamarac on September 7, 2012; two bank robberies targeting Bank of America in Tamarac on October 19, 2012 and November 2, 2012.
Ross is also alleged to have been involved in bank robberies at the Bank of America in Fort Lauderdale on Christmas Eve 2012 and also a BB&T bank in Tamarac on January 4 and another Bank of America in Fort Lauderdale on February 28.
The FBI said Ross should be considered armed and dangerous.
