FBI Hopes Video Will Lead To TD Bank Robbery Suspects
PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) – The FBI is releasing surveillance video of armed bank robbers who targeted a Pembroke Pines TD Bank in early September in hopes of catching them.
According to the FBI, the two robbers came into the bank and demanded money from an employee.
The FBI said the robbers fired shots in the bank and got away with money.
The FBI would not divulge how much money was stolen.
No one inside the bank at the time of the robbery was injured during the robbery.
FBI agents said the duo escaped in an older model black Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am with chrome wheels, a spoiler on the rear hatch and dark tinted windows.
Customers want the men caught.
"At the time you could be in the bank when these things happen," said Roosevelt Brown. "That's why it's important to catch the people doing these crimes."
If you have any information about the robbery or the identity of the robbers call the FBI at 305-944-9101 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS (8477).
